Jessica Cobb, of Marlborough, Massachusetts joined Columbia City Ballet in 2017. She began her training at her mom’s school at the age of three. There she studied many styles of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary and hip hop. After deciding to pursue ballet professionally, Jessica went on to train with the Boston Ballet School and summer programs including Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Orlando Ballet, Boston Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and Oklahoma City Ballet on scholarship. Her senior year in high school she was invited to train in Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s pre-professional division, spending one year in their full-time, high school program and the following two years in their graduate program. During her time in Pittsburgh she had many opportunities to perform with the main company, one of her favorite roles being Spanish in Terrence Orr’s The Nutcracker. Before joining Columbia City Ballet Jessica danced with Louisville Ballet for two seasons as a Trainee performing in Western Symphony, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker to name a few. With Columbia City Ballet Jessica has performed in Dracula: Ballet with a Bite, The Nutcracker, A Midsummer Nights Dream and Off the Wall and onto the Stage.
