Dedicated to enriching communities through arts and culture.
Columbia City Ballet’s Educational Outreach Series is celebrating 23 years of educating millions of children throughout the Southeast. All performances feature the professional dancers of the Columbia City Ballet and our award-winning production standards. We are proud to have nearly 30,000 attendees at our EOP productions each season!
At only $5 per seat, this can’t-miss opportunity to learn about various dance forms, history and stagecraft and is not only a wonderful learning experience but also a superb value. Students and adults of all ages are invited to attend these special Koger Center performances for the same low price. These are not dress rehearsals that we open to the public- our productions are specially made each season to provide a deep understanding of the art form of ballet and enhance the lives of every patron who attends. The Columbia City Ballet holds our mission to educate the community at the highest level each season, so these productions will leave you with an exciting knowledge and appreciation of ballet and a yearning to learn more about the performing arts in our beautiful city!
To further enhance your educational experience, the Columbia City Ballet will email an Educational Curriculum Teacher’s Guide to every registered teacher or group leader who has paid in full two weeks prior to every performance,. Materials will include the history of ballet, informative games, ballet terms and information on proper ballet etiquette. Our Educational Guides are hand-crafted by educational professionals in the community and will give teachers the necessary materials to prepare their students for the production and make the experience the most fun and educational it can be.
Most performances last from 45 minutes to an hour, including a Q&A and demonstration session. Many performances sell out, so make your reservations early by calling Columbia City Ballet now!
